Our thoughts and emotions can have a profound impact on our physical and mental health. By focusing on positive thoughts and emotions, we can create a more harmonious and healthy environment for our bodies and minds.

Masaru Emoto was a Japanese scientist and author who conducted research on the effects of human consciousness on water. He became known for his water crystal experiments, in which he exposed water to different thoughts and emotions and then froze it to observe the resulting crystal formations. Emoto claimed that water exposed to positive thoughts and emotions formed beautiful, symmetrical crystal formations, while water exposed to negative thoughts and emotions formed distorted and asymmetrical crystal formations. 

Because humans are comprised of 70% water, it may make sense that we, too, could be affected by the words we hear, the words we think, the words we speak, and the words we are visually exposed to. The vibrations course through our very cells! Emoto’s work suggests that we can improve our physical and mental health by focusing on positive thoughts and emotions. Here are some ways to implement this into your daily life:

  • Drink water that has been exposed to positive thoughts and emotions. This could involve saying a prayer or blessing over your water before drinking it, or simply surrounding yourself with positive images and music while you drink it.
  • Take a shower or bath in water that has been infused with positive energy. You can do this by adding essential oils to the water, or by placing crystals or other sacred objects in the water. Or, simply repeat a positive mantra while bathing.
  • Eat food that has been prepared with love and care. When you cook or bake, try to focus on positive thoughts and emotions. You can also infuse your food with positive energy by saying a prayer or blessing over it before eating.
  • Write positive affirmations on your water bottle, mirror, or other places where you will see them often. Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself on a regular basis. They can help to reprogram your subconscious mind and improve your self-belief.
  • Listen to music that has a positive and uplifting vibration. Music can have a powerful effect on our emotions, so choose music that makes you feel good and inspired.
  • Spend time in nature. Nature is a natural source of positive energy. When you spend time in nature, try to be present and mindful of your surroundings. Take deep breaths and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.
